Ingredients

125 ml lemon juice

50 g castor sugar

250 ml elderflower liqueur

250 ml vodka

500 ml apple juice

125 ml sparkling water

Ice

Fresh summer herbs like lemon verbena, mint and basil (optional)

Lemon slices (optional)

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice and sugar until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Transfer into a large serving bowl, add the other liquid ingredients, fill to the top with ice and stir gently.

  3. Serve immediately, with herbs and lemon slices.
