Baked Mushroom Rice

Cooking Time: 30 min Preparation Time: 10 min Serves: 4 people
a prepared Baked Mushroom Rice meal

1 cup Tastic Rice, uncooked

1/2 cup green onions, sliced

1 tbsp butter

220 g fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced

1 1/2 cup chicken stock

1/2 cup dry sherry

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Butter a baking dish and pour in uncooked rice.

  2. In a medium saucepan, sauté green onions in butter until softened. Add mushrooms and continue to sauté until mushrooms are softened.

  3. Pour in chicken stock, sherry, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and pour over rice in baking dish.

  4. Cover baking dish, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
